President

At the helm of Detroit Metro FC is Jeff Tripoli, a seasoned Marketing Executive and a Serial Entrepreneur with a proven business acumen. With 27 years of experience in the industry and a passion for leadership, Jeff is excited to guide Detroit Metro FC into an exciting, new era.

Alex Lubyansky

GM and Head Coach

Alex Lubyansky leads Detroit Metro FC as General Manager and Head Coach, responsible for the club’s sporting direction, operations, and long-term organizational growth. With decades of experience building teams and developing high-impact players, he brings an executive mindset focused on sustained performance and scalable success.

Jennifer McConnell

Director of Gameday Operations

Jen’s passion for the game is deeply rooted as the matriarch of a soccer-obsessed family. Over the last decade, she immersed herself in the youth soccer industry, from managing multiple teams to board officer and club president, and is now a growing presence on the adult soccer scene in the Midwest. She is currently the Director of Operations at the Livonia Athletic District — a 95,000 square foot indoor sports facility.

Alex Wiewiora serves as the Head of Marketing for Detroit Metro FC, bringing experience in sports marketing and fan engagement. As the Manager of Livonia Athletic District, he specializes in growing sports organizations through strategic partnerships, digital marketing, and community-focused initiatives that strengthen the club’s presence both on and off the field.

Jami Tripoli

Game Day Director

Jami’s passion for sports is rooted in years of supporting athletes and growing the game within the local community. With a professional background in advertising and marketing, she brings extensive experience in brand development, communications, and community engagement. As a dedicated sports mom, Jami is passionate about creating meaningful connections between the club, its supporters, and the community while helping elevate the Detroit Metro FC experience both on and off the field.

Edisjon Xhaxho

Digital Media and Content

Edisjon Xhaxho joins Detroit Metro FC with a proven track record in sports videography and social media storytelling. He brings experience from professional soccer, college athletics, and content creation for NFL athletes. His expertise in capturing the game’s energy and delivering high-impact video content will be instrumental in elevating DMFC’s digital presence.
