Derick Broche joins DMFC for the 2025 Season
BRIGHTON, MICHIGAN (February 6, 2025) - General Manager and Head Coach Alex Lubyansky announced the addition of Derick Broche to the roster of the inaugural season for Detroit Metro FC.
Born and raised in the Midwest, he started with the Michigan Wolves and had stints with some of the nation’s most respected clubs, including Houston Dynamo Academy and Columbus Crew Academy, where he made history as the leading goal scorer in the U.S. during his time there. He also played at the University of Michigan, and he continued with the Flint City Bucks and contributed to their successes on the national stage.
Lubyansky added, "Derick brings not only immense talent but also a passion for the beautiful game that resonates with our mission to elevate soccer in Detroit."
Detroit Metro FC kicks off its inaugural season in the UPSL this spring of 2025 at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Michigan.
