Detroit Metro FC announces official training home
BRIGHTON, MICHIGAN (January 18, 2025) - Detroit Metro FC announced today that Livonia Athletic District will be the team's official training home for the upcoming Spring 2025 season and beyond. The team is excited to move into a top-tier facility with cutting edge training technology. The facility will also serve as the location for the team's operational headquarters.
Head Coach and General Manager, Alex Lubyansky noted, "We are excited to call the LAD [Livonia Athletic District] our home. It is an amazing facility where the community can come together and for Detroit Metro FC to strengthen our commitment to excellence."
The Livonia Athletic District is a 95,000 square foot indoor and outdoor sports complex that has a number of sports, health, and wellness offerings from artifical turf fields to pickleball courts and home to a number of businesses. Detroit Metro FC kicks off its inaugural season in the UPSL this spring of 2025 at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Michigan.
