Jake Kunnath joins DMFC for the 2025 Season
BRIGHTON, MICHIGAN (March 13, 2025) - Detroit Metro FC announced the addition of Jake Kunnath to the Spring 2025 roster today. He was born and raised in Canton, Michigan. Kunnath has built an impressive career as a dynamic forward, showcasing his goal-scoring ability across multiple levels of competition.
After excelling at the University of Michigan’s Men’s Club Soccer team, where he played a key role in multiple national tournament runs, he progressed to the NPSL with Michigan Stars and later made his pro debut with Gold Star Detroit FC in NISA. Most recently, he has been a standout for Livonia City FC, demonstrating his attacking prowess with an impressive goal tally. Head Coach Alex Lubyansky added, “Jake brings not only a keen eye for goal but also a relentless work ethic that perfectly aligns with our vision for soccer in Detroit.”
Detroit Metro FC kicks off its inaugural season in the UPSL this April of 2025 at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Michigan.
